Alice Kay Cooper, a long time resident of Greenville, SC, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, August 9, 2019. She was surrounded by her family at her home in Lewis Center, Ohio.

Alice was preceded in death by her loving and faithful husband, Gerald B. Cooper. She is survived by her children, Debbie (Steve) Gilliland and Darryl Cooper; grandchildren, Jason (Bethany) Gilliland, Abbey (Erik) Riggs, and Bethany (Bill) Prudden; great grandchildren, Liam and Stella Gilliland, Kade, Ruby and Ezekiel Riggs; sister: Carolyn Gilbert of Florida; sister-in-law: Joyce Kay of Greenville, SC; and brother-in-law: Erskine Cooper of Indiana.

Alice epitomized the Proverbs 31 wife and mother. She unselfishly cared for those whom the Lord placed in her life. She will always be remembered for her homemade biscuits and Thanksgiving cornbread dressing.

A private family service was held graveside at Graceland Cemetery-WEST, Greenville SC.
