Angela Marie Cooley, born November 23, 1964, in Greenville, South Carolina, passed peacefully on July 21, 2026, in her beloved hometown. Surrounded by the familiar embrace of the city that shaped her, Angela left this world, leaving behind a legacy rich in love, warmth, and resilience.

Angela’s journey began in Greenville, a place that would always remain close to her heart. Throughout her life, Angela was known for her kindness, quiet strength, and the unwavering support she offered to those around her. Her presence brought comfort and light to her family and friends, who cherished her deeply.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Thomas Baker Jr., who stood proudly by her side, sharing in life’s joys and shouldering its burdens in equal measure. Angela is survived by her brother, Eugene Cooley, and her sister, Rhonda Fender. The next generation was graced by Angela’s gentle spirit as well, most notably her niece, Gina Waldrop, who carries forward Angela's warmth and generosity of spirit.

Though her absence leaves an ache in many hearts, Angela is reunited at last with loved ones who passed before her. She was the cherished daughter of Bender and Sue Ellen Cooley, who now welcome her home with open arms. Her beloved son, whose memory held a permanent and tender place in Angela’s heart, is also among those greeting her.
