Barbara Jordan Sayar, 79, passed away on Thursday, February 11th, 2021. Born on November 3rd, 1941 in Charlotte, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Charles Ross Jordan and the late Marian Elizabeth Broome.

Barbara was a loving, devoted, selfless Mom, grandmom, and great grandmom. Even though she was small, she had a fierce, fiery spirit that greatly surpassed her tiny stature. It could never be said that Barbara didn't have enough personality and attitude to go around. To keep her mind sharp, she loved computer games, jigsaw puzzles, keeping up with news and current events, and watching Law and Order. Barbara loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She also enjoyed spending time at the beach.

Left to keep Barbara's spark alive are her children: Beth Wilcox, Brian Jordan, and Kevin Fennessy; her grandchildren: Andy Jordan (Anne), Ashley Jordan, Chris Jordan, Manny Jordan, Ashlee Wilcox, and Kareen Wilcox; her great grandchildren: Ragen, Adriana, Pierce, Loralie, Hazel, and Phoebe.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Jordan and Marian Broome, and her brothers, Billy and Buddy Jordan.

Visitation is scheduled for Monday, February 15th, 2021 from 11:00am-12:00pm at Graceland Mortuary. Service will begin at 12:00pm followed by interment at Graceland Cemetery- WEST.
