Barbara F. Tench, 75 of Travelers Rest, SC passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2013. She was born on March 19, 1938 in Greenville, South Carolina. Barbara enjoyed life and loved to read, her cat Pumpkin and her church family. She was a charter member of Trinity Way Baptist Church.
Barbara is survived by her daughter Patricia Brookshire of Travelers Rest, her grandchildren; Andrea Hazen of Greenville, Shea Roberson of Brevard, NC and John Moss of Travelers Rest, her great granddaughter Callie Elizabeth Roberson of Brevard, NC, her sister Kim Thomas and her husband Dan of Greenville, her brothers Ranger, Tommy and Randy Mahaffey.
Barbara was predeceased by her husband Eugene Tench and her sister and brother in law Mary Lou and Bill Dixon.
A Memorial Service celebrating Barbara's life will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013, 4:00 P.M. at Trinity Way Baptist Church in Greenville. Pastor Dr. Dennis Holtzclaw will be Officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family would like all memorial contributions to be made to Trinity Way Baptist Church, 4113 Old Buncombe Rd., Greenville, SC 29617 in Barbara's memory.
