Betty Sue Thomason, 69, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2026. Born on November 21, 1956, Betty was a woman of deep faith, strong family devotion, and a joyful spirit that touched all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Edith and Paul; her brother, Donnie; and her sister, Becky Santamaria.

Betty leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory always, including her brothers, Paul Tucker and Norman Tucker; her devoted son, Shane Thomason and his wife, Megan; and her treasured grandchildren, Mordecai Thomason (Jeremy Turner), Kloey Thomason (Damon Patterson), Aowyn, and Elias. Her son and grandchildren were truly her pride and joy, and she found her greatest happiness in the time she spent with them.

Betty had a passion for life’s simple pleasures. She loved bowling and at one time enjoyed being part of a league alongside her son and brother. She was an avid gardener with a special fondness for daisies, her favorite flower. Betty also found joy in riding her bike and making special memories going to the movies with her son, Shane.

A faithful and dedicated member of Williamston Pentecostal Holiness Church, Betty’s faith was a guiding light throughout her life and an inspiration to those around her.

She will be remembered for her kindness, her unwavering love for her family, and the warmth she shared so freely. Betty’s presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
