Billy Towery passed away peacefully at his home after a prolonged illness at the age of 73.  He was a member of Park Place Church of God.  He loved to hunt, fish, play golf, shoot pool, watch sports and especially NASCAR.  Most of all, he loved to be with his friends 'Terry Leah Suttles' and all the Patrons of Christine's Place (est. 1923) which he considered to be a large part of his family.

He leaves behind his only daughter Candy Towery Anders (Doug), a sister Joyce Towery Finley (Billy), a brother-in-law Keith Walters, and a great-nephew Shannon Tucker (Amanda) and their two children Bradley and Madalynn, along with many other extended family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father Carl Towery and Clara Nelson Towery, a grandson Christopher Anders, a sister Betty Towery Walters, and his beloved nephew Charles Tucker "Jr." (Shannon Tucker's father).

He will be laid to rest alongside Charles "Jr." and his parents Carl & Clara Towery.

The Funeral services and the celebration of Billy Towery's life will be conducted by Pastor Terry Sherfield at 2:00pm Friday December 14 ^th at The Graceland Mortuary Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until service time at The Graceland Mortuary. Interment will follow services at Graceland Cemetery-WEST.
