Buddy Burnett, 82, of Greenville, SC passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017. Buddy was a son of the late Bill and Liza Sizemore Burnett and was the widower of the late Patsy Thompson Burnett to whom he was married of 48 years. He was retired from the Greenville Hospital System where he was employed for 15 years.

Mr. Burnett is survived by a daughter, Karen Carpenter (Samuel); a grandson, Jason Samuel Carpenter; a god-granddaughter, Tasha Singleton; a brother, Jack E. Burnett, and a girlfriend, Jean Phillips. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Buddy Burnett, and two sisters, Martha Ann Smith and Bobbie Jean Roper.

Karen was her daddy's "little girl" and even though she will miss him deeply, she lives on with the assurance that she will see her daddy as well as her mother and brother again when she joins them in Heaven.

Visitation will be held from 11:00am until 1:00pm on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Love and Mercy Worship Center located at 13 Orchid Drive, Greenville, South Carolina with funeral service immediately following.
