Calvin Hobart Clarke
Greenville, SC
Calvin Hobart Clarke, 85, of 3 Tinsberry Drive, passed away on October 16, 2009.
He was born in Greenville, SC and was the son of the late Hobart and Para Lee Rollins Clarke.
Mr. Clarke was a veteran of the US Navy and was a retired machinist with Saco Lowell. He was also a member of Brandon Masonic Lodge 279.
Mr. Clarke is survived by two daughters: Patricia and Larry Smith of Greenville and Nancy and Tim Whitmire of Greenville;one half brother: Eddie Clark; two half sisters:Elaine Parnell and Eileen Cope; five grandchildren: Amy Cottrell, Dory Jennings, Jennifer Abrams, Kerri Carter, and Todd Clarke; four great grand children.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Clarke is predeceased by his step-mother:Lorene Clarke; one son:Calvin Clarke, Jr; one sister: Essie Laws. There will be a graveside service at 1:00 pm on Saturday October 17, 2009 at Graceland West Cemetery.
