Miller

IN LOVING MEMORY OF
CARL "DAVID" MILLER
Born September 13, 1952 and Entered into Rest September 27, 2021
David was born on September 13, 1952, the eldest son of the late Carl Jackson and Dorothy Bishop Miller.
David was a Veteran in the US Army, spending time in Germany as an Armor Recon Specialist from 1972 to 1974. A logger by trade for most of his life, he brought home baby squirrels and owls that he had found at work. He enjoyed his retirement fishing, hunting, drag racing, and spending fun times with his family. His wit and humor filled all the lives he leaves behind with happiness and fond memories.
He and his faithful loving wife of 45 years, Carolyn Norris Miller, were blessed with 3 beautiful daughters, Rena (Junior) of Iva, Dawn (Bo) of Seneca and Marie of Easley.
Those daughters changed David's name to Papa when they gave him 8 precious grandchildren. Nathan, Davin "Pee-Wee", Kody "Kodeman", Drayton, Patrick, Dylan, Hunter "Hunter Bug" and Bella.
Those grandchildren filled the family with even more joy making Nanny and Papa the perfect gifts of 8 great grandbabies to spoil. Zoey, Kalijah, Karstyn, Addison, Bowen, Madileigh, Raylen and Maddox.
Carl and Dorothy had a large family and lots of fun. David grew up tormenting his brothers and sisters with snakes and frogs all in fun. Brenda Sewell of Easley, Charlotte Miller of Pickens, Eugene Miller of Easley, Margaret McDonald of Easley and Larry Miller of Easley.
And we can't forget David's partner in crime, his "Puddin", George Sewell of Easley. All these as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins will miss David dearly.
David awaits us all in his heavenly home with his Mom, Dad, and Granddaughter, Julia Mazyck.
A Memorial Service will be held at the old Miller home place, 146 Cricket Lane, Easley, on Saturday October 9, 2021 at 3pm. Followed by fun and classic rock music.
The family would like to give special thanks to Agape Hospice, American Legion Post 3, and The Band Called Fore.
