Carroll E. Smith 82 of Fountain Inn passed away Thursday August 22, 2019. He was a son of the late Charles E. and Ruby A. Smith of Spartanburg.  For almost 47 years Carroll was the loving husband of Veronica and proudly served his country in the US Air Force stationed in Germany form 1954-1958.  He was a member of Clear Springs Baptist Church in Simpsonville; his hobbies included meeting people, operating a ham radio and camping. He loved to fish and was a life time member of the Striper Kings fishing club. Carroll was a retired Industrial Electrician from the James Clarkson Company, and ran his own shop for many years.  He was loved by anyone who met him and will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish his memory in addition to his wife are two sons; Robert C. Smith of Long Creek, SC, and Dr. Todd Holliday of West Union, SC, one daughter; Tina O'Donnell of Salem, Va, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday September 3, 2019 in the chapel of Graceland EAST Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until service time. Interment will follow with Military Honors presented by the United States Air Force at Graceland EAST memorial Park.
