Obituary
Clovie Onease Galloway McCarson, 90, of 141 Hillbrook Rd. passed away on November 30, 2009.
Mrs. McCarson was born in Pickens County and is the daughter of the late Lonzo Sylvester and Rose Murphree Galloway. She was also the wife of the late Paul William McCarson.
She retired from the South Carolina School System and was a member of the Woodside Church of God.
She is survived by two sons: Stanley (Joanne) McCarson of Laurens and Randy McCarson of Douglasville, GA; two sisters: Willie Mae Thomas and Elizabeth Ladd of Greenville; one brother: Joe (Bobbie) Galloway of Powdersville; four grandchildren: Kim McCarson, Tony McCarson, Dolph McCarson, and Jillianne McCarson; two step-grandchildren: Darla Taylor and Misti Morgan; one great grandson: Blane Taylor.
Funeral services will be held on Friday December 4, 2009 at 1PM at Woodside Church of God. There will be a visitation prior to the service at the church from 11:30 AM until 1PM.
The family will be at 141 Hillbrook Rd. in Laurens.
