Daniel Carver 70, of Greenville passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015. Mr. Carver was a son of the late Walter and Anna Marie Cissom Carver; he is survived by his loving wife Mary Messer Carver. Mr. Carver worked with the S.C. Department of Transportation and was a self-described "jack of all trades."

In addition to his wife, Mr. Carver is survived by a son; Roger Dale Carver, five daughters; Sherry James, Lynn Bowen, Teresa Pace, Norma Miller and Sandy Gail Russell, 14 grandchildren; Ashley, Aaron, Brandon and Levi Carver, Cory and Casy James, Kayla Goode, Ryan and Danielle Pace, Jeremy Miller, Brandon and Meghan Bowen, Nathan and Socelie Russell, several Great Grandchildren; one brother; Johnny Carver, three sisters; Rachel Pearson, Loretta Hughes, and Gladys Russell. Mr. Carver is preceded in death by three brothers; David Oscar, Matthew, and Steve Carver and one sister; Annie Hopkins.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at the Graceland Cemetery- West located at 4814 White Horse Rd. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
