David Leroy Harris, Jr., 55, of Greenville, passed away on January 13, 2021 at his home. He was born on August 28, 1965 to the late David Leroy Harris, Sr. and Joyce Elaine Henson.

David proudly served our country as a Sergeant in the United States Army and the Army Reserves for 20 years before retiring. He also was an electrician. David was a wonderful and loving father, with a great sense of humour who's dad jokes were always on point. He was a very optimistic person who always strived to be the best person that he could be no matter the situation. He was a very skilled pool player and loved to polish rock in his spare time. David had a beautiful mind.

David is survived by his two children Kim Harris and Jonathan Harris and sister Dixil A. Harris Mason.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Alan L. Smith.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 21st, from 2pm until 4pm in the Chapel of Graceland Mortuary, with the funeral service to follow.
