Donald "Duck" Vanoy Pittman, 78, of Greenville went home to be with the Lord on Thursday February 21,2019. He is preceded in death by his loving wife; Dorothy Mae Pittman and a sister; Mildred Pruitt, four brothers; James, Bill, Charles and Joe Pittman. He is survived by his caretakers of many years; Donna Ross and Susan Morgan and two sisters; Sandra Bridwell (Larry) and Ann Thomas (Jack), eight nieces and nine nephews.

Duck was an avid outdoors man, loving to take nature walks and whenever possible do some deep sea fishing. He sang in his church and would never pass up the opportunity to watch a good western movie or listen to country music greats, Johnny Cash and George Jones. Donald was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed woodworking.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00pm on Thursday February 28, 2019 at Graceland Cemetery- WEST. The family has entrusted The Graceland Mortuary to assist them in their time of need.
