Donna Rutherford, 68,  went to be with the Lord on July 25,2021. She was born May 3,1953 in Glen Burnie Maryland to Benjamin and Gertrude Sneade Gunter.

Donna had a zest for life and she loved children. She had a passion for reading and her favorite song was "Daddy's Hands". Donna had a heart of gold, and was willing to help when needed.

Left to cherish her memories are her children; Emily Whetzel  and spouse Jimmy R Whetzel Sr Travelers Rest SC, Carla (Rutherford) Lopez and spouse Ivan Lopez from Greenville South Carolina, Elbert J.B. Rutherford Greenville South Carolina and Zachary Rutherford Sr in Columbia South Carolina. Stepdaughter, who was more like a daughter, Dottie Garland, spouse Michael Garland from Wardensville, West Virginia. She also adopted three grandchildren; Zachary Rutherford Jr and Benjamin Rutherford and Cecilia Rutherford of Greenville SC. She has many nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as a large extended family she loved dearly and that loved her.

Donna was preceded in death by;  by her father Benjamin F. Gunter and mother, Gertrude C Gunter (Sneade) in Greenville South Carolina, her sister Linda and half brother Jimmy Gunter.  Two stepsons Carl Lee Rutherford II from Panama City Beach Florida and Gregory Allen Lee Rutherford West Virginia. First husband Melvin Keith Bradshaw and second husband Carl Lee Rutherford.

A memorial service will be held at a later date by the family.
