Donna Jones Skelton, 82, of Greenville, SC, passed away on May 3, 2024. Born on May 28, 1941, to the late Helen Osteen and William Claude Jones, she was a loving, giving, and caring individual who was a mother, grandmother, and friend to many. Donna was known for her selflessness, hard work, and her ability to connect with people from all walks of life.

Donna worked as an administrative assistant for Buchanan Oil, and a food broker. She was a dedicated member of Unity Baptist Church. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, especially to the beach and the mountains.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Gina Skelton Harper (Doug); step-sons, Ronnie Skelton and Donnie Skelton; grandchildren: Joshua Githens, Andrew Skelton, Travis Skelton, Garret Harper, Jonna Harper, Jacob Skelton; great-grandson, Connor Skelton; and sister Sandra Jones Loftis (Dwight). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe M. Skelton; and many brothers and sisters.

A service to celebrate Donna's life will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Graceland Mortuary, 4814 White Horse Rd., Greenville, SC 29611. The family will receive friends and loved ones an hour prior, beginning 1:00 PM. Committal and burial will follow the services in Graceland Cemetery West.
