Earl Joe Ballard Sr.
Greenville
Earl Joe Ballard Sr., 77, of 114 Avery St. passed away on November 23, 2011. He is the son of the late Carl Henry and Edna Stoner Ballard. He is the husband of Evelyn Cox Ballard of the home.
Mr. Ballard was a veteran of the Army. He also is a member of Abundant Grace Church of God. Before retiring he worked in the meter lab at Duke Power for 41 years.
In addition to his wife Evelyn, he is survived by three children: Earl J. Ballard Jr. of Easley, John Barry Ballard (Joni) of Pelzer, and Julie Celeste Ballard (Robin Benton) of Greenville; a brother, John Thomas Ballard (Christine) of Greenville; a sister, Shirley Ellison of Piedmont; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Ballard is predeceased by his siblings, Carl Ballard Jr. and Margaret Hendrix.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday November 26, 2011 at 10 am at Graceland West Cemetery.
The family will be at the residence.
