Efren Goycochea, 74, of Travlers Rest, SC passed away on October 2, 2022 in Greenville, SC.  Efren was born in Isabela, PR to the late Teofilo and Ana Obdula Martir Goycochea on May 16, 1948.

Efren is survived by his wife, Maria Duarte; son, Efren Goycochea, Jr and siblings Aida Matir, Rosa Martir, Elisa Martir, Gabriel Martir, Carlos Martir, Marbel Martir, and Daniel Martir. He is predeceased by his parents, Teofilo and Ana Goycochea; and siblings Claricia Martir, José Luis Matir, Luis Antonio Martir, Miguel Martir.

Efren worked for many years as a commercial baker at Nissen Bakery Central Falls RI, and enjoyed  garden, cooking and helping others. He was a member of Park Place Church of God.

Services for Efren will be held on october 7, 2022 at Park Place Church of God located at 221 Orders St, Greenville, SC 29609 with a visitation from noon to 1 pm and funeral service starting at 1pm.  burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery West located at 4814 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 29611
