IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Elizabeth "Lucie"
Espinoza
August 9, 1988 – January 5, 2025
Elizabeth Ann Espinoza, affectionately known as "Lucie," was born on August 9, 1988, and went to her heavenly home on January 5, 2025, in South Carolina. She was a devoted mother to her two beautiful and joyous sons, Josiah Romeo Espinoza, 13, and Kaiser Shadow Espinoza, 6, as well as to her bonus children, Ashley Espinoza Muñoz and Eli Espinoza.
Lucie married her best friend and the love of her life, Sergio Garcia Espinoza, with whom she shared countless cherished moments. Lucie's greatest accomplishment was the family her and Sergio created and being a loving, caring stay at home mom to her babies Josiah and Kaiser. She found immense joy in being an aunt to her nieces and nephews, Payton, Paislee, Avery, and Bentley, also being a grandma to her two grandchildren Emil Espinoza Muñoz and Kylo Ian Muñoz, and her love extended to everyone around her unconditionally.
In addition, Lucie is survived by her loving mother, Debra Barron; her second mom, Michelle Williams; her father, Pat Barron; her brother, Patrick Barron; half-brother, Lawrence Barron; sisters, Kayla and Kimberly Nalley; her uncle, Edward Lynn; bonus mom, Mary Nalley; caring mother-in-law, Maria Alicia Espinoza; sister-in-law, Merith Espinoza -Torres; and Judy Avery who Lucie considered a grandmother and loved very much. She also leaves behind a host of family members and close friends who loved her dearly.
Lucie will be remembered for her unwavering kindness and love, her dedication to her family, and her ability to bring joy to those around her. Lucie loved hard. She was beautifully considerate, understanding, thoughtful, funny, sympathetic, and warmhearted, yet also (don't tell me what to do) stubborn and headstrong. She made an indelible impact on the lives of many and will be greatly missed.
A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Graceland Mortuary, 4814 White Horse Rd., Greenville, SC 29611. The family will receive friends and loved ones an hour prior, beginning 2:00 PM.
