Obituary
Ellen M. Ehlers, 66, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2012 with her loving family by her side. She is the wife of Nicholas Ehlers and was the stepdaughter of Howard Conger and daughter of Christine Cameron.
She attended Bethesda United Methodist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed. Some of her greatest accomplishments was being awarded Nurses Aid of the year by the state of New Jersey, also the mayor of the local walking track.
Ellen is survived by in addition to her husband, three children: James Ehlers,John Ehlers and Cheryl Ehlers. Five grandchildren: Nicholas, Timmy, Samantha, Richard and Nichole.
Visitation will be Friday, November 9 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Graceland Mortuary. The funeral service will be Saturday, November 10 at 11:00 am in the chapel, followed by entombment at Graceland West Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the South Carolina Ovarian Cancer Foundation, in memory of Ellen M. Ehlers, 602 Meeting Street, Suite B, Columbia, SC 29169 or call (803)926-3462. The family will be at her home.
