Ellen Louise Simmons, 79, of Easley, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on May 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on August 17, 1945, Ellen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and faithful servant of the Lord. She was the beloved wife of Alvin Simmons and the proud mother of one son, Allen Simmons (deceased), and three daughters: Teresa Westbury (Doug), Loretta Demas (Vasili), and Dana Crenshaw (Steve). Her legacy continues through 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her heart.

Ellen spent 16 years caring for others at Oakmont Nursing Home and later worked at Kmart until her retirement. She was known for her kindness, strength, and unwavering faith in God. Her life was a testament to love, service, and devotion—both to her family and to her Savior.

A graveside service to honor and celebrate Ellen's life will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Graceland Cemetery West, 4814 White Horse Rd., Greenville, SC 29611.
