Eula Gray "Nana" Galbreath, 83, of Greenville SC passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2019 surrounded by loved ones.

Born in Harrogate, TN to the late Johnny Lambert and Dessie Cleo Sandifer in 1936, Eula was a member of the Mt. Giliad Baptist Church in Cedar Grove, TN. She also was a singer in the Southern Gospel Express. She moved to Greenville, SC in 1956.

Eula was lovingly referred to as "Ginger" by her husband of 42 years James. Together they raised six children with love. She worked as a seamstress to help support her family. "Nana" as she was known to so many never met a stranger; a pot of coffee could be put on at a moment's notice and everyone was family to her. "A life with love is a life that's been lived." She attended New Life Baptist Church in Greenville.

Eula is survived by: her husband, James, six children: Jessie Jubal Capps, Harvey Shane Capps (Patricia), Cheryl Jean Capps, Sabina Marie Lewis, Jimmie Jo Galbreath and Joy Clem (Shannon):  two sisters: June Prater and Vivian Frye,  and one brother: Thurman Lambert. "Nana" leaves behind seventeen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, and one great- great- grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters: Hazel Hammock, Edna Ellison, Naomi Cosby, and three brothers: Arvel Lambert, Eathern Lambert, and Leman Lambert.

Visitation will be held at New Life Baptist Church, 2691 W Blue Ridge Dr, Greenville SC 29611, on Monday, June 3, 2019 from 11am to 1pm with the funeral to follow in the church's chapel. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery West.
