Evelyn Jeanette Ballard 80, of Greenville passed away Sunday July 5, 2015. She was a widow the late Earl Joe Ballard, and a daughter of the late Furman and Estelle Brown Cox. She was a retired cloth cutter from J.P. Stevens Parker Mill. She was a loving and "feisty" mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who was also a lover of reading, movies, "real" country music and especially Elvis. Ms. Ballard was a member of Abundant Grace Church of God.

Ms. Ballard is survived by two sons; Joe, and Barry Ballard, one daughter; Julie Ballard Keener, two brothers; Furman, and Lamar Cox, one sister; Linda O'Sheal, four grandchildren; Cindy Brown, Matthew Ballard, Ashley Surett, and Cayla Payne, and two Great-Grandchildren; Brandi Surett, and Aria Payne. In addition to her loving husband of 57 years Earl, she is preceded in death by a brother Claude Cox

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday July 9, 2015 at the Graceland Cemetery-WEST located at 4814 White Horse Road, Greenville, SC 29610.
