Gerald "Chickenman" Croley passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017. He was a son of the late Estel and Christine Miller Croley. He is the beloved husband of Carol Schmitt Croley. He loved to restore antique furniture and enjoyed coon hunting. Gerald will be remembered as "one of a kind."

In addition to his wife, Gerald is survived by one son, Justin Croley, and daughter-in-law Toni Campbell; one daughter, Christina Croley Locklear; five grandchildren, Tiandra, Emmanuel, Kamdun, and Kilynn Locklear, and Devon Croley; siblings Lonnie, Dirl, Estel "Bimbo" Croley, and Alice Shockley; many nieces and nephews, and his beloved brother-in-law, Larry Shockley. He is preceded in death by a sister, Sue Shockley, and a nephew, Barry Shockley.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday, June 21, 2017 in the chapel of The Graceland Mortuary with Pastor Jay Ivey officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm until service time at The Graceland Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society in Gerald's name.
