Gerald Lee Wilkerson, 64, of Greenville, SC, concluded his earthly journey and met Jesus face to face  Monday, March 11, 2024. He was born September 1, 1959 in Greer, SC to the late Linda Ray Phillips and Darrial Eugene Wilkerson.

Gerald is survived by two sons, Jeremy Wilkerson and Justin Wilkerson (Madia); one granddaughter and one grandson; sister, Debbie Carver (Donnie); brother, David Wilkerson (Elizabeth); sister, Shannon Bowers (Bill); and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

After graduating from Parker High School, Gerald worked the majority of his life in the Plastics Industry. In his spare time, he loved fishing, going to the beach, watching football and NASCAR, and listening to good music. Gerald was quite the animal lover and kept a yellow-naped parrot named Willie for many, many years. He will be remembered as the OG of Hawaiian Shirts and Flannel. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and entertaining his nieces and nephews because he was always just a big kid himself. Gerald touched many lives and will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.

There will be a private family memorial to celebrate Gerald's life at a later date.
