Geraldine Staton 75, of Greenville passed away Sunday December 6, 2015. Geraldine was the loving wife of the late Richard Earl Staton for 34 years. She was a daughter of the late Lee Phillip and Cartez Laverne Proffitt Ward Sr.

She is survived by two daughters; Diane Morris (Lee McCall) and Kim Hooker (Thomas Hooker), six grandchildren Tiffany, Kevin, Kaitlynn, Bobby, Victor, and Vance, one great grandchild; Jason, two brothers;Lee Phillip Ward Jr, William Fred Ward Sr.

Services will be held at 11:00 am Monday December 14, 2015 at the Graceland Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior from 10:00am till the time of service at 11:00am. Interment will follow at the Graceland Cemetery-WEST.
