Obituary

Gordon Moses Page Jr., of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2025, at Prisma Health Baptist Easley Hospital. He was deeply loved and confident in his faith, comforted by the belief that he was going to be with his Lord and Savior, after a long and courageous fight to live life to the fullest. Gordon graduated from Rock Hill High School in 1964 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Carolina. He later earned certificates in welding, fabrication, and machine tool and die from York Technical College. A proud veteran, Gordon served two consecutive tours in Vietnam from 1966 to 1972.

Gordon was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Catherine—the love of his life. They made their home in Greenville, South Carolina, 23 years ago, where they built a life full of joy, partnership, and purpose. Known for his entrepreneurial acumen, Gordon and Catherine successfully created and ran a trailer business together. A passionate woodworking enthusiast, Gordon found joy in building—both in craft and in life. His legacy of creativity, resilience, and business spirit lives on through their children, Justin and Gwen, who have both followed in his entrepreneurial footsteps.

Gordon's commitment to his family never wavered, no matter his physical challenges.

He was always quick to laugh and lift the spirits of those around him. Fondly known as "George Washington," with Catherine as his "Martha," he embraced life with warmth and humor.

Gordon is survived by his wife, Catherine; their children, Gwen (Forrest) Page-Suter, and Justin (Ana) Isom; his eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and his brother, John (Bennie) Page.
