Guyton F. Smith 90, of Easley SC went home to be with the Lord November 17, 2021. He was born to Guyton Smith and Clarette Jones Smith in Piedmont SC December 6, 1930. Fant was a native of SC and was a member of Truth Missionary Baptist Church of Greenville.

Fant married Mary Brooks and they were married for 52 beautiful years. He retired from Judson Mill after 47 years of employment. After retirement he enjoyed setting out bird houses and feeders around the house and watching the many different birds come visit the yard. He and Mary also enjoyed eating out and spending time with the family. Fant was a kind, loving man.

Left behind to cherish his memories are his loving wife Mary, His sisters; Janie Lou Kastner; Myrtice Burgess (Kennon); Sylvia Hamet and Jackie Donald. He also left behind many nieces, nephews and extended family that will miss him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents Guyton and Clarette Jones Smith.

Visitation will be Friday November 19, 2021 from 10:00-10:45 am at Graceland Mortuary, 4814 White Horse rd. Greenville SC 29611. With burial to follow at 11:00am in Graceland Cemetery West.
