Harleston Broadus Barrett, 65, of 110 Shadowmoss Dr. passed away on Friday August 20, 2010. He is the husband of the late Joan Wilson Barrett.
Mr. Barrett was born in Salem, SC and is the son of the late William Elmus and Annie Orr Barrett. He is a member of Greenville First Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.He is also employed with RMAX as a maintenance mechanic.
He is survived by two daughters: Shannon Barrett and her husband SSG Terry L. Dobson of Piedmont and Tiffiney Barrett Aziz of Piedmont; two sisters: Carolyn and her husband Edgar Gilstrap of Seneca, SC and Audrey and her husband Bob Barker of Walhalla, SC; two brothers: Rev. Elvis and his wife Dot Barrett of Salem, SC and Rev. Donald and his wife Joella Barrett of Walhalla, SC; three brother-in-laws: Phillip Jones of Salem, SC, David Wilson of Seneca, SC and Glen Rink of Springfield, VA; two sister-in-laws: Patricia and Allen Justensen of Manti, UT and Tammy and James Allen Johnson of Seneca, SC; three grandchildren: Benjamine X., Zacharia L., and Andrew H. Dobson.
In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Barrett is predeceased by two brothers and a sister-in-law: Mayford and Melvin Barrett and Beverly Wilson Rink.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday August 24, 2010 at Greenville First Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 2 pm with interment following the service at Graceland Cemetery West on White Horse Road.. There will be a visitation on Monday August 23, 2010 from 6:30pm until 8:30 pm at Graceland Mortuary.
The family will be at 206 Labonte Dr. in Piedmont.
