Hasson Martin Stoudemire
Easley
Hasson Martin Stoudemire, 74, of Easley, SC passed away on Wednesday July 6, 2011 after a long term of failing health.
Martin was born on March 15, 1937 in Travelers Rest, SC to the late Andrew Otto Stoudemire and Evelyn Austin Stoudemire. He was predeceased by two sisters, Glennis S. Dalton and Mary Louise S. Watson, a daughter, Sherryll E. Stoudemire Morris, and a step daughter, Teresa A. Flemming Millwood.
Martin is survived by his wife Mary A. Jordan Stoudemire, a son, George Martin Stoudemire, a brother, Andrew O. Stoudemire, two step children, Cecil Lee Fleming Jr. and Connie M. Fleming Strickland, three grandchildren, and one great grand child.
Martin was a veteran, serving in the Navy from 1955 to 1959, and was honorably discharged.
Funeral services will be held at Tabernacle Baptist Church 3931 White Horse Rd. Greenville, SC 29611 on Monday, July 11, 2011 at 2:30 pm. There will be a visitation prior to the service from 1:00 pm until 2:15 pm at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Tabernacle Baptist Church or Tabernacle Baptist Church Children's Home 3931 White Horse Rd. Greenville, SC 29611
