Hendell Leona (Jeffeaux) Huffstickler returned to the Lord on the beautiful day of Sunday August 14th, 2022 just before 12:00PM.  She is survived by her devoted son David of Greenville SC who became her constant companion since she was widowed in 2005 and her son and daughter in law Paul and Olga of Duncan, SC.  Also, she is survived by her 3 grandchildren Joshua (12), Coleman (8) and Paola (6) and her Niece Melissa (McCurry) Poole and Nephew Jonathan McCurry of Travelers Rest and Greenville respectively and Nephew Ron McGee of Wilmington, NC.

Hendell was preceded in death by her parents Hugh and Ada (Bradley) Jeffeaux, her siblings Hazel (Jeffeaux) McCurry, Doris (McGee) Burns, J.T. McGee and Ollie (McGee) Welborn and her beloved husband of 48 years Rufus Coleman "Bill" Huffstickler.

She loved belonging to the family that God placed her in and each and every one of her family is so happy to have had mom, sis, cuz, aunt Hendy, granny or Hun in their lives.  Anyone who knew Hendell knows that she was as unique as her name.  She was the most generous, forgiving and loving person and also fiercely protective of her loved ones.  All members of any family are important, but Hendell was an anchor that so many tied their boats to.  Her memory will live forever in the hearts of her family.
