Herbert Wayne Nimmons, 82, passed on Monday, March 02, 2020, at home surrounded by his family. He was born September 19, 1937 in Greenville to the late Ms. Vera Kennedy Nimmons.

Herbert served in the US Army for 4 years as well as 8 years in the US Air Force. He successfully ran his own business, Nimmons' Fiberglass and Acrylic Tub repair, for 35 years. Herbert was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather that loved his family and his dogs. He never met a stranger. Herbert was also a fan of the Clemson Tigers.

He is survived by his wife Martha Kennedy Nimmons; sons Randy Nimmons (Myra) and Kenny Nimmons; daughter Teresa Monday (Jack E.); and grandchildren: Kyle Nimmons, Peyton, Nimmons, Adam Monday, Brett Mace (Brittany), Kelsie Mace, and Kayla Monday.

In addition to his mother, Herbert is preceded in death by his grandson Brandon Nimmons.

A Graveside Service will be held at Graceland Cemetery-WEST on Wednesday, March 4, 2020, at 3 PM. Services will be performed by Jeff Doughty.
