James Harold Cartee Sr., 96 of Fletcher, went to his Eternal home on Friday March 1, 2019. Harold spent most of his life in Greenville, SC before joining family in the Asheville, NC area. Harold served His Country in the US Army during World War II in the medical corps stationed in England.  He worked in construction after the war building homes, churches, and other commercial buildings.  One of Harold's greatest adventures was going on a Honor Flight to Washington, DC in 2013. He was overwhelmed with patriotism and the appreciation that our Country shows to the WWII veterans.

Harold loved his church families at Mountain Creek Baptist Church in Greenville, SC and Malvern Hills Presbyterian Church in Asheville, NC.  Harold's life was a witness to everyone around him, his assurance of spending eternity with his heavenly father and family was certain.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Friday March 8, 2019 in the chapel of The Graceland Mortuary, conducted by the Reverend Kenneth Rainey. Burial to follow, with military honors at Graceland Cemetery-WEST.
