James Allen Cox, 87, of Greenville passed away Thursday September 05, 2019. He was a son of the late Merril Alfred and Marie G.(Moore) and the loving husband and "Elvis" of 60 years to Patricia Ann Cox. His favorite things included family, boxing, golf, and Steeler's football.

He is survived by four sons: Louie, James A. Jr.(Stacey), Ben(Connie), Clint(Chasity) Cox; two daughters: Irma Koch, Norma(Linda) Cox; nine grandchildren: Ashley Moore, Dakoda, Tesla, Dustin, Shyla, and Dylan Cox, Stephan Wolf, and Sucarie(Lucas) Bowerman; five great grandchildren: Aja Logan, Amira Dirton, Aria, Aleigha Bowerman, and Tarryn Wolf; and one brother.

In addition to his wife and parents, James is preceded in death by a brother and sister.
