James Phillip "Phil" Nichols
Greenville, SC
James Phillip "Phil" Nichols, 64, passed away March 28, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He is the son of James Franklin Nichols and Virginia Lee Phillips and husband of Janice Rogers Nichols.
James was a self employed proprietor and of the Baptist faith.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters; Tracy Scivelge Pope; Bridget (James) Messick and Phyllis C. Roberts all of Greenville. One sister Sharon Edwards of Greenville and three brothers; Larry Nichols, Terry Nichols and Tim Nichols all of Greenville. Eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 4 from 1:00 pm until 1:45 pm with the funeral service following at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Graceland Mortuary. Committal service will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Flowers will be accepted. Graceland Mortuary is assisting the Nichols family with arrangements. www.gracelandmortuary-sc.com.
