Obituary

Jannie L Keller Pressley, born on July 20, 1936, peacefully passed away on May 25, 2026, in Easley. Her life was a testament to faith, love, and devotion, marked most vividly by her deep connection to the mountains and her unwavering Christian commitment.

Jannie’s love for the mountains was more than a pastime; it was a place where she found peace and the presence of God. Many who knew her will fondly remember the daily trips she cherished to the mountains and Georgia—trips that were not just about the breathtaking views but also moments of reflection, joy, and spiritual renewal. Her warmth and kindness touched the hearts of all fortunate enough to be in her company.

As a beloved matriarch, Jannie leaves behind a large and loving family who carry forward her legacy. She is survived by her children: Butch Fowler, Becky Caddell, David Boyce, and Karen, who is the parent of Rachel King and Adam Boyce. Her grandchildren include Pamela Gandee, who shared 20 years with Shawn, Dwayne Gandee and his wife Lita, as well as Larry Waddell and David Keller. Jannie’s family tree extends to include nine great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews who all held her in high regard.

Though her family celebrates her life, they also remember with sorrow those whom Jannie preceded in death—her beloved husband James Keller and her son Billy Keller. Their memories live on in the hearts of those who loved them, intertwined with the enduring spirit Jannie so gracefully embodied.

Family, friends, and all who knew Jannie will gather to honor her memory and celebrate her journey of faith and love. Visitation will be held on June 1, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Graceland Mortuary, located at 4814 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 29611. Following visitation, the funeral service will commence at 2:30 PM at the same location, lasting until 3:00 PM. The final resting place will be at Graceland Cemetery West, Greenville, with burial beginning at 3:00 PM and concluding by 4:00 PM.

Jannie L Keller Pressley’s legacy is one of steadfast devotion, profound love for her family and God, and a life richly intertwined with the simple yet profound beauty of nature. She will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and eternally cherished.
