Jerry Ross Bowers, 76, of Greenville passed away on Sunday July 3, 2016. He was a son of the late Buster and Ollie Mae (Massey) Bowers of Piedmont. He was the beloved husband of 55 years to Ophelia (Holden) Bowers.

In addition to his loving wife, Jerry is survived by a grandson; Matthew Ryan Howell, three sisters; Mary Collins Clardy, Jerrell Dean Campbell and Christine Childers Steinbrueck.
Jerry is preceded in death by his son; Michael Ross Bowers, eight brothers; Charles Ray Childers, Junior, Samuel Osborne, Wayne Eugene, Douglas McArthur, James Neal, Buster Edward and John Russell Bowers.

A graveside service will be held at 3:30pm on Thursday July 7, 2016 at Graceland Cemetery-WEST 4814 White Horse Rd. Greenville, SC 29610
