Biography Jerry Randall (Randy) McCarson. 56. of Winston, Georgia, died Monday, June 13, 2011, at his residence. He was born in Greenville, South Carolina, on September 3, 1954, the son of the late Paul William McCarson and the late Clovie Gallaway McCarson. He attended the University of South Carolina and received a BA degree in Business. He had lived in the Villa Rica area since 1984 when he moved here from Columbia, South Carolina, and was affiliated with McCarson Realty where he was very active in the real estate business. He was established with the West Georgia Board of Realtors and the West Metro Board of Realtors. He was an avid University of South Carolina football fan, enjoyed watching football and loved playing trivia.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Stanley McCarson.
Survivors include his son, Louis Randolph (Dolph) McCarson and his daughter, Jillianne McCarson , both of Villa Rica; and his former wife, and mother of his children, Louise McCarson of Villa Rica.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, June 15, 2011, from 4:00-7:00 P.M.. The body will then be carried to Graceland Mortuary in Greenville, South Carolina for burial on Friday, June 17, 2011. There will be a visitation on Friday June 17, 2011 from 10:45 am until 11:45 am at the mortuary. Graveside services will follow the visitation at 12:00 pm at Graceland Cemetery West.
