John Homer Burdette, 79, of Pelzer passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017 at St Francis Hospital. He was a son of the late John and Beatrice Burdette and the loving husband of the late Miriam Self Burdette. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a member of New Beginnings Full Gospel Church where his only surviving sister, Brenda Shifflett, is a pastor. Mr. Burdette was predeceased by a brother, Marshall Burdette, and a sister, Betty Burdette. He loved fishing, playing the bass guitar and singing for the Lord. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family, children and friends.

He is loved by all and will be truly missed. Rest in peace, daddy, brother and friend.
