Justina A. Padilla, 92, of Greenville, ascended into the arms of the Holy Father on Monday, January 27, 2020. She was born on October 04, 1927 in, León, Nicaragua, to the late Luis Espinoza and Concepción Matamoroz.

Justina was the loving and faith wife of José I. Padilla for over 64 years. They met and married in Leon, Nicaragua. They immigrated to the United States while in their 60's. Justina was a teacher for 15 years in rural León, teaching children in first through third grades. After she married José in 1955, she retired from teaching and opened her own business as a seamstress. After 40 years as a successful business owner, she retired. They immigrated to the United States while in their 60's. She loved to go shopping, travel, and help others, no matter who they were.

She is survived by her husband José, three sons: Eduardo Padilla, José L. Padilla (Pamela), and Cruz R. Padilla (Vanessa); daughter Eusebia Rosemond (Garry); sister Petronila Calderón as well as nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and nine nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Justina is preceded in death by her brother José Luis Espinoza and nephew José Antonio Espinoza.

A Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 30, 2020 from 6:00-9:00 PM in the Chapel of Graceland Mortuary. The Funeral Service will take place on Friday, January 31, 2020 at 2:00 PM, also in the Chapel, with the Committal to follow.
