Karen "Kay" Culbertson,78, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was born to the late Arthur Harry Reilly and Lena Bader Reilly on January 07, 1941 in Spokane, Washington.
Kay was the faithful and loving wife to Billy Culbertson for over 27 years. She loved to cook, travel, and be surrounded by family and friends. She was an insurance underwriter and retired from Canal Insurance Company. Kay was an active member of the Aldersgate United Methodist Church and was the president of the Friendship Sunday School Class.
Kay is survived by her husband, Billy Joe Culbertson; three daughters: Kathi Gale (Dexter), Terri Scott (Glenn), and Jennifer Norris; two step-children: Bryon and Tim Culbertson; four grandchildren: Miranda Barrett (Jon), C.J. Norris, Charlie Gale, and Troy Gale; eight step-grandchildren; three great grandchildren: Lochlan, Riggs, and Hatcher Barrett; and twelve step- great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Kay is preceded in death by a step son, Terry Culbertson.
A Visitation will be held December 21, 2019 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church from 10:30 am until 12:00 pm, with funeral service to follow. The committal will take place in the Mausoleum of Graceland Cemetery-EAST at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
