Katie J. Black Simpsonville
Mrs. Katie Jeanette Black, 91, passed away Thursday August 27, 2009 at the Summit Place Living Center, Simpsonville, SC.
Mrs. Black is the widow of the late James A. (Buddy) Black and was the last survivor of her immediate family. She was a homemaker and a member of the Poe Baptist Church, Greenville.
She was under the care of the Summit Place Living Center for the past five years and by her two nieces, Karen Garrett and Karla Threlkeld.
Funeral Services will be conducted 4 p.m. on Sunday August 30, 2009 at Graceland Mortuary, 4814 Whitehorse Road, Greenville by Rev. Ryan Reed.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service (at 3 p.m.).Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery and Mausoleums.
