Obituary

Kerry Spencer Castle, 59, of Travelers Rest, passed away on Tuesday, June 09, 2020, riding his favorite Ducati. He was the only son of the late William Spencer Castle, Jr. and Edna Jane Yarnall. He was born on September 15, 1960.

Kerry had the zest for life and it showed through his many endeavors over the years. He was an entrepreneur and owned several business throughout his life. In St. Petersburg, FL, he owned and operated Sub Dude for several years as well as Window Saver's, in which he installed hurricane shutters. He also had a landscaping business for several years before relocating to Travelers Rest, SC. Kerry was a subcontractor through Lowes as a door installer. His customers loved and respected him through all his business ventures. Kerry loved to play guitar with his best buds, shoot a few games of pool, and any form of racing that involved gas (the faster the better), He owned 5 Ducati's- red of course. He loved to attend the MotoGP Races. He also restored a 1960's Barracuda, painting it his favorite color of purple with emerald flakes. Kerry also enjoyed the thrill of skiing in the Colorado Mountains.

Kerry is survived by his only sister Colleen J. Williams (Billy Ray), and three nephews: Justin McMillen, Tyler McMillen, and Levi McMillen.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

There will be a celebration of Kerry's life on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 1:00 PM,  with a Pot-Luck Dinner to follow. Everyone is welcome to bring their favorite dish. Please contact Colleen or Shawn for the event location.
