IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kirsten Shayla
Volzka
June 27, 2007 – November 20, 2020
Kirsten Shayla Volzka, 13, of Liberty, roller skated her way into Heaven on Friday, November 20, 2020. She is the daughter of Kayla Lynn Kelley and the late Keith Shawn Volzka, Jr.. She was born June 27, 2007.
Kirsten Volzka was an 8th grade student at Wren Middle school. She was a very vibrant young girl. She loved her family and she loved everyone from her heart. Kirsten was a cheerleader last year and loved cheering for her school. She loved the beach. She also loved roller skating. She was on two skate teams for Skate Land USA, at Anderson and Greenville. Kirsten also loved to dancing with friends at Cotton Eyed Joe's Family Entertainment as she was growing up. She really kept McDonald's, Taco Bell, and Starbucks in business. As her Mom (Donna Stargel) told her she should buy stock in those businesses. Her favorite phrase was "Hey Best Friend". She would say this to each and everyone that she met. Kirsten has touched so many hearts and she continues to do so. We feel that Kirsten was an angel sent from heaven and her mission was to fill the world with love. She also reminded us that God, family, and friends should be cherished and never taken for granted. She will live on in our hearts forever and her memories and love will carry on for a lifetime. She will truly be missed by many people. Fly High Our Sweet Beautiful Angel!!!
Kirsten is survived by her mom Donna Jane Stargel, mama Kayla Lynn Kelley, stepdad Stanton Dean Shirley; siblings Kayleagh Alyssa Cole of Pickens and Chloe Elaine Shirley of Liberty; Grandparents: Jerry and Elaine McCullough of Belton, Ray and Melisa Neal of Pickens, Keith Volzka of Arizona, Rick Kelley of Greenville, Dale Stargel of Greenville, and Michael Snead of Greenville; Great grandparents: Frank and Carol Davenport of O'Possum Kingdom, Debbie Cox of Travelers Rest, and Eddy Mathis of Pelzer; and Great-Great Grandparent Bernice Stamey of Marietta.
