Lavon Lee Smith, a beloved member of her community, peacefully passed away on August 24, 2024 at the age of 77. Born on November 5, 1946, she touched the lives of many with her kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith.

Lavon retired from the JP Stevens Parker Plant after 42 years of service. She was a devoted member of Park Place Church of God, where she found solace and inspiration. Her presence will be deeply missed by the congregation and all who knew her.

Lavon is survived by her loving daughter, Tammy; and her cherished grandsons, Chase Aderhold (Taralynn), of Boiling Springs, SC, and Payton Aderhold (Bailey) of Greenville, SC. Lavon's legacy will live on through their memories of her love, guidance, and unwavering support.

Her funeral service will be held 12:00 PM Friday, August 30, 2024 at Park Place Church of God, 221 Orders St., Greenville, SC 29609. Visitation will be held an hour prior, beginning 11:00 AM. Committal and burial will follow the services at Graceland Cemetery West in Greenville, SC.
