Leroy Bridges, 84, of Easley, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, April 5, 2021. He was born in Coffee Springs, Alabama on June 20, 1936 to the late Jim T. Bridges and Annie L. Snuggs.

Leroy was an optician and retired preacher. He was a preacher and member of the Dunean Baptist Church for many years. He enjoyed being with his family and was an avid Alabama fan, Roll Tide!!! He also loved to fish, hunt, work in his garden- he simply loved being outdoors.

He is survived by his children: Robert Bridges (Renee) and Louise Huff, grandchildren: Katie Bridges, Harley Coley (David), Julie Davis (Tyler), and Emily Howe (Jordan); and great grandchild Aiden Coley.

Leroy is preceded in death by his parents Jim and Annie Bridges and his four brothers: Wilber Bridges, Mabrey Bridges, Dee Bridges, and Eugene Bridges.

Graveside services will be held at Graceland Cemetery-WEST on Thursday, April 8th at 11am.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be sent to Robert Bridges 132 Ballentine Rd. Easley, SC 29642, so that he may donate them to the church in his father's name.
