Lewis Barbary, 85, of Greenville passed away peacefully on May 3, 2016 surrounded by his two daughters. Lewis was the loving husband of 59 years to the late Melvina Sadie Barbary. He was also a member of Truth Missionary Baptist Church for over 19 years and an avid golfer.

Survivors include his two daughters; Darlene Wakefield and Yvonne Carlton, four grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and a brother, Bill Barbary. Lewis is also preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Barbary and Hazel Craigo.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 2:00pm in the chapel of The Graceland Mortuary, 4814 White Horse Rd., Greenville, SC 29611 with visitation being held one hour prior to services. Interment will follow services at Graceland Cemetery-WEST.
