Linda Darlene Grice, age 73 of LaFollette, TN,  passed away at LaFollette Medical Center Thursday July 25, 2024. She was born in Greenville, SC on July 31, 1950 to the late Jesse and Ruth Case Redding, and lived there her entire life until moving to Tennessee to be closer to her daughter.

Linda was a housekeeper and laundry attendant at Crown Plaza in Greenville, SC and a member of Crosswell Apostolic Church in Easley, SC.

Surviving is a daughter and son-in-law, Melissa G. and Mark Franks; son, Roger M. Grice; grandchildren: Cheri Simmons Searles (Adam), Ryan Simmons (Desiree), and Jeremy, Brittany, and Hunter Grice; great-grandchildren: Jayce Owens, Chayse Barkyoumb, and Kyrie Simmons;  sister, Joyce Dennis; and many nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Darrell Redding; an infant sister; and many other extended family members.

While living at LaFollette Health and Rehab, Linda enjoyed many of their activities, including but not limited to singing, attending their church services, and playing Bingo.

Her body was transported back to her hometown in Greenville, SC where she will be laid to rest near her parents and brother at Graceland Cemetery West. A small memorial will be scheduled later for the residents and staff of LaFollette Health and Rehab.

Funeral services will be officiated by Pastor Ann Smith 12:00 PM Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Graceland Mortuary, 4814 White Horse Rd., Greenville, SC 29611. The family will receive friends and loved ones an hour prior, beginning 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to The LaFollette Health and Rehab Activity Program, 200 Torrey Rd, LaFollette, TN 37766; or to Crosswell Apostolic Church, 122 Latham St., Easley, SC 29640.
