Margaret Henson Hawkins 79, of Greenville passed away Wednesday January 13, 2016. She was a daughter of the late William T. Alvin, Sr. and Bertha Mae Raines Henson. She was also a member of Berea First Baptist Church.

Ms. Hawkins is survived by a daughter; Michelle H. Hogan (Jeff) of Cottontown, TN, a son; Robin Hawkins (Tina) of Liberty, SC, four grandchildren; Brittany and Rachel Hogan, Eric (Michelle) and Kerstin Hawkins, a great-grandson, Caden Williams, a brother; Alvin Henson, Jr.(Diane), two nieces; Amy H. Evatt (Jeff) and Anna Henson, a nephew, Al Henson, III. (Katelyn); a great-nephew, Colton Evatt, and two great-nieces, Emma and Sadie Henson.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday January 16, 2016 in The Graceland Mortuary Chapel with visitation being held an hour prior at 1:00 pm, also at The Graceland Mortuary. Interment will be held following services at Graceland Cemetery-WEST.

The family has requested the memorial contributions be made to The Legacy Fund, Berea First Baptist Church, 529 Farrs Bridge Road, Greenville, SC, 29611.

The family has entrusted The Graceland Mortuary to assist them in their time of need.
