Marie Ann Brookshire of Pickens passed away Tuesday August 27, 2019 at her home.  Marie was a daughter of the late Olen J, and Beatirce Manley, Marie was the loving wife of the late Harold Ray Brookshire for 35 wonderful years. She enjoyed singing, dancing, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Marie was the most amazing, loving, and caring woman you have ever met.

Left to cherish her memory are her son; Christopher Brookshire (Tara) of Marietta, seven grandchildren; Joseph and Hannah Brookshire of Easley, Justin and Pamela Brookshire of Easley, Zachiary and Tiffany Brookshire of Pickens, Travis, Maranda, Carleigh and Aurora Brookshire of Marietta, Nine great-grandchildren, Amber, Ronnie, Dixie, Caleb, Destiny, Jaxson, Connor, McKenzi and Kris Lynn, three great great- grandchildren; Zimaya, Zimer, and Tayven., one brother; James Manley (Susan) of Pickens, two sisters; Betty and the late Richard Evans of Pickens, Ruby Sullivan (Rick) of Waterloo.   In addition to being reunited with her son Joseph Carlton Brookshire in heaven, Marie is preceded in death by three brothers; Cecil, Olen and Charles Manley.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00am Friday August 30, 2019 at Graceland Cemetery-WEST.  The family will receive friends and family from 5:00-9:00 pm Thursday August 29, 2019 at 114 Country Creek Dr. Pickens, SC 29671
